Allan Dokossi selected the top Central African playing abroad in last week's games

Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Central Africans who are currently playing abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international small forward Allan Dokossi (203-99, currently plays in France). He was the major contributor in a Provence Basket's victory against the 13th-ranked Aix-Maurienne (2-3) 84-74 in the French ProB (second division) in Friday night's game. Dokossi recorded 13 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 25 minutes on the court. FOS Provence Basket (4-2) is placed fifth in the ProB. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Dokossi has relatively good stats this year: 10.2ppg, 7.2rpg, 1.2spg, 2FGP: 78.1%(25-32), 3FGP: 66.7% and FT: 71.4% in six games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Central African and French. Dokossi is currently a member of the Central African senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international power forward Jimmy Djimrabaye (203-92, currently plays in France). He led Quimper UJAP to an easy victory against the 16th-ranked Gries/Oberhoffen (1-5) 80-65 in the French ProB (second division) last Saturday. Djimrabaye recorded 13 points and grabbed 5 rebounds (made all of his six free throws). Quimper UJAP (4-0) is placed third in the ProB. So far his team won all four games in the Regular Season. But the season just started, so everything may happen. This year Djimrabaye averages: 7.5ppg, 5.0rpg, 1.5spg, 2FGP: 47.1%, 3FGP: 33.3% and FT: 91.7%. He is in the roster of the Central African senior national team.

   #3. The Central African player who performed third best last week abroad was an experienced former international guard Kurt Wegscheider (193-1, currently plays college basketball in the States), who plays in the NCAA. Wegscheider could not help the N.Mexico (0-8) to beat the University of Nevada - Las Vegas (2-2). It was not his best game last Monday. Wegscheider scored only 2 points in 12 minutes. The N.Mexico lost 46-53 at home to the University of Nevada -. So far N.Mexico lost all eight games in the conference This year Wegscheider's overall stats are: 2.3ppg, 2.0rpg in 10 games. He played for the Central African national team two years ago.

   #4. Power forward Johan Grebongo (202-94, currently plays in France) was not able to help Mulhouse in their game against C'Chartres (7-2) in the French NM1 (third division). Grebongo scored 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. The eighth-placed Mulhouse (4-4) was defeated 101-91 on their home court in Mulhouse by the second-ranked C'Chartres in the Group B. It's Grebongo's fifth season with the team. This year he has relatively solid stats: 12.0ppg, 5.1rpg, 2.0apg and 1.1spg. Grebongo is also Central African national team player.
